Get ready to rock... ok?!!  Sunday, September 16 at the Myriad Gardens

What time is it?  Time to ROCK!

I have to share the personal connection my family has to Wiggle Out Loud.  The first year we partnered with this amazing event, my daughter had just learned to walk.  She had a blast!  She danced and roamed the festival grounds like a boss one year old.  Since then, when we pass a busy parking lot, she asks if there's a festival!

Our family loves OKC because of all the districts, happenings and festivals that bring our community together.  I am very proud that The Children's Hospital VOLUNTEERS can contribute by partnering with this fantastic FREE event.

Take a quick minute to learn more... and plan to rock it with us in September!

All the best,

WIGGLE OUT LOUD!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, Sept. 16, tell your friends and start practicing your moves for this year's Wiggle Out Loud - a free, outdoor family music festival in Oklahoma City! We’ve invited back Sarah Lee Guthrie and Lucky Diaz, as a lightning-out kept us from seeing their amazing performances. Also on stage will be Chasing James, Saul Paul, Sugar Free Allstars and a special, kid-friendly performance by Tyson Meade.

So you want to do even more to get involved?!  Great... you're awesome!

YOU CAN BE A SPONSOR: Confirm your sponsorship by July 15 & encourage employees & friends to get involved with this amazing festival. Be Active. Be Healthy. Rock out. WIGGLE OUT LOUD!

Why do we Wiggle?  Tens of thousands of community kids & families have joined us at Wiggle Out Loud—a free, safe event—while learning to be active, healthy & creative. Additionally, proceeds give kids at the hospital access to creative arts programs, live music & Music Therapy programs. We hope to expand to an Art Therapy program and provide innovation and maker arts programs in the near future.

Art is healing & impactful to kids in the hospital:
- Not all but many kids have chronic illnesses which may keep them from community arts experiences
- 65-70% are low income, for whom cost, travel, access & time can be barriers to participation in the arts

Help us continue growing Wiggle Out Loud & creative arts programs of The Children’s Hospital Volunteers 501(c)3 charity—encouraging all kids to play, get moving, be creative, enjoy music & art, laugh & be healthy.
